Hotel Cap Lamandou, Jacmel HaitiCap Lamandou is an intercontinental five star hotel that provides guest with an air conditioned room where they can enjoy a private balcony with breathtaking ocean views.

Cap Lamandou is located on the southern peninsula of Haiti’s Caribbean Sea and is located in the historic Township of Jacmel.   Jacmel is the neighboring city to the west of Marigot and is also famous for its beaches and tourist attractions.   The name Jacmel derives from the aborigines’ word that means rich lands and the agricultural wealth is evident in the beauty of its tropical and evergreen forest.

Jacmel too was once a rich port city for wealthy coffee and tobacco merchants. The streets are lined with beautiful French architecture and balconies decorated with delicate handcrafted ironwork of the New Orleans tradition.   Many of the buildings now house artisan galleries, boutiques, and cafés.   Our guests are sure to create Caribbean memories they will cherish, while enjoying Cap Lamandou Hotel, your oasis in paradise.

Each room also has a refrigerator, safe box, telephone, and television with DSS programming.  Our guestrooms are comfortable and cozy with pristinely kept bathroom. It feels like a home away from home.

  2. In 2008 I was stayed in Cap Lamandou, Jacmel Haiti and it was a very nice stayed for me. The manager of the Cap Lamandou was very nice but I forgot her name the hotel is located in top of the beach. My room was facing the ocean and at night I was open the slice door and I got the breeze from the ocean. If I have to go back to Jacmel or if I have friends and families going to Jacmel I’ll advice them to stay in Cap Lamandou.
    I’m congratulated the staff from Cap Lamandou for the way they treat the customers.

    Sincerely;

    Artanase

  8. I don’t stay @ Cap Lamandou anymore when I go to Jacmel. Because it’s too expensive for a low rate bonide motel which pretend to be a five star hotel. Besides the rotten smell of sewer coming from the sink in the bathrooms is sickening. The health department of Haiti should force the management of the hotel to properly ventilate the sewage fume from the septic tank or close the hotel. it’s a health hazard. And the service is artisanal to say the least. I asked for a beer and the bartender seved it in a whiski glass with ice in it.
    How in the hell you gone call that a five star hotel. It’s a mediocre establishment with a nice coat of paint .
